[oxo] I used three ancient letters to represent natural wonders that fascinate me:
The Greek letter O [omicron], derived from the Phoenician letter ayin
, which means “eye” in Hebrew, represents for me the full moon and its phases. My favourite is a crescent moon.
The Greek letter Ξ [ksi], derived from the Phoenician letter samekh
represents for me the starlit night sky (in Greek “Ξάστερος”). I like drawing it as a constellation of three stars.
The Greek letter Θ [theta], derived from the Phoenician letter teth
represents for me the sea (in Greek “Θάλασσα”). The sea always changes moods and colours, so the symbol of the letter may change too. Sometimes I use a button to make the connection to my crafts.
